Q: Do I need a referral for a medical house call from my office based physician?

A: MD24 House Call Physicians Network accepts Medicare, Medicare with supplemental insurance, Medicare with Medicaid, most private insurances, and provides discounts for uninsured patients.

 

Q: Does HouseCall Doctors provide Emergency Medical Care?

A: No. If you are experiencing a true medical emergency, MD24 House Call Physicians Network encourages all patients to pick up the phone and dial 911 as soon as possible.

 

Q: Does MD24 House Call Physicians Network accept Health Maintenance Organizations (HMO) insurances?

A: No, MD24 House Call Physicians Network does not accept HMOs.

 

Q: Can MD24 House Call Physicians Network see patients in an assisted and/or non-assisted living home or nursing home?

A: Absolutely. MD24 House Call Physicians Network specializes in this type of setting. In fact, with the consent of the patient, and/or a relative, or the legal guardian of the patient, House-Call doctors will render a medical house call in a nursing and/or assisted/non-assisted living home.

 

Q: Will I always be seen by a medical doctor for my first visit?

A: Absolutely. MD24 House Call Physicians Network always utilizes the services of medical doctors instead of physician assistants or nurse practitioners for the first house-call visits.
